Driving my date home from an evening in Annapolis, I spotted this DB9 in the parking garage as we were leaving. I pulled over and parked, asking my date if I could get out and talk to the owner for a quick second. She gave me the most incredulous look and said “sure”, so off I went. I had a brief chat with the owner, who also started it up and wrung the engine out for me as I stood there. I thanked him for his time and went back to my car and my date. Unbeknownst to me she had texted her mother and said “this guy just left me in the car to look at another car. Doubt I’m going to see him again.”

We got married last October. I still stop to look at cars, and she still texts her mother.

Mine too, and she is thoroughly confused by some of the cars that get my attention. Her reaction when I bought the Roadmaster was, “Why the f@&$ing f@&$ do you like this ugly ass thing?”
